I love the name thekennykiller. This is the Traxxas Slash 4x4 Platinum Edition with the new low-CG chassis. I just need to put my big boy shorts on and do it. I am sure I would be really happy with either. it would be another $100.00 or so for the ipod touch. It does not add up to an ipod touch either. Now if I factor in the painting supplies, plus the little things. If I do, I will end up ordering the mask's, and do a 4 or 5 color paint job, lots of taping and re taping. I would actually like to paint a body so I have a different car then any one out there. I need to go over the totals again top make sure. Then I factored in the paint, liquid mask, tape, time, and am now wondering if the Ultimate a bad deal? So there is about $120.00 difference between the two. If I went with my preferred Airtronics it would be more.

This is going with a FlySky radio ($40.00). The Platinum is $470 to the door with stuff from two vendors. The Ultimate is $590.00 to the door ready to go. Well I started putting stuff in the cart and figuring out the total to my door. Just looking for the most for my limited funds. The radio does not have any model memory, so that is a minus. I have also been looking at the Team Associated SC 4X4. It is a better deal to get this, compared to the Ultimate? I have chargers all ready and I was looking at a new radio any way. I am not cheap but look for the most value for the hard earned cash. With promo code it works out to be 375 to my door. Yet it is suppose to be the same truck under the clear body. So then I was at the LHS and they were talking about the Platinum version where it does not come with radio, battery or charger.

I have a Droid phone so it is useless to me. I was looking at the Slash Ultimate but the radio with the dock does nothing for me. I have a Revo 3.3 that has many miles and gallons of fuel through it. I have built one with friends and family were we get together. I do not have a track other then my own 6 acres. I am no racer Rick or anything like that.
